The TARMED tariff 00.0025 etc. used by the medical sector until the end of 2025 is also inhumane!

In the original image below of a copied invoice from Zurich’s „Triemli Hospital“, now called „Stadtspital Zürich“, you can see three red arrows – within the same treatment. These are surcharges for patients under 6 years old or over 75 years old – and this absurdity is something you really need to
„let melt on your tongue“!
First red arrow stands for: Preliminary discussion of diagnostic/therapeutic interventions with patients/relatives by the specialist for children under six years and persons over 75 years, per five minutes.
Second red arrow stands for: Specific consultation by the primary care specialist for children under 6 years and persons over 75 years, per 1 minute.
Third red arrow stands for: Instructions for self-measurements and self-treatment by the specialist for children under 6 years and persons over 75 years, per 5 minutes.
This had already been the case since the beginning of TARMED – in 2004 – until this crutch was abolished at the end of 2025. Not much is yet known about its successor TARDOC.
Please note: The „+“ sign does not represent additional time expenditure, but is simply an inhumane surcharge for the difficult(?) treatment of children or seniors. I find that outrageous! Check your invoices! And please see how exactly the same treatment will be remunerated once the Einheits-KrankenKasse comes into force. Once Fr. 532.45 and under EKK Fr. 82.50. Why the difference? Because the discussion only lasted 24 minutes and 36 seconds and because that – according to TARMED 00.0010 – provides exactly 200 francs per hour – which is correct. Triemli charged 6.5 times too much. The blame does not lie with patient-facing staff, but with the clique in upper management.
