19.4.2026 Greetings, dear reader. We from the initiative committee thank you for your visit. You can also reach our page via the short address: www.EKK150.ch. Our answer to the most exciting question: «Why exactly 150 francs?» can be found here!

An important note:

The “single health fund” rejected in 2014that is not us! Our sensational initiative follows a completely new and fully digitalized path. It represents a system change and a doubling of work capacity, pushing the shortage of skilled professionals far into the distance. The 44 health insurers approved by the FOPH will be dissolved. 150 francs also means: finally money left for holidays: A family with two children (in Zurich) saves at least 12,000 francs per year! In addition, there are further advantages:

Zero francs premium payments for children up to age 18.
No deductibles anymore.
Free dental care – except dental cleaning and medically unnecessary replacements.
Physician-prescribed medicines not available here and even imported medicines are reimbursed.
Free choice of doctor – except in clinics/hospitals.
Free medical transports within Switzerland.
New! Operations only with supervision or by the most experienced and specialized top surgeons.

Please read and examine the shocking original documents that prompted me, as initiator, to make our current healthcare system affordable again. My fight for this began in 2018. Since then, affordability has deteriorated every year by many times more than our general inflation. On every current bill, I also see (as a senior citizen) an inhumane surcharge simply because I am older than 75. From 2026 onward, the old medical tariff TARMED no longer applies, but instead the new tariff TARDOC. Federal Councillor “Baume-Schneider” said: “It will not become cheaper, but costs should be slowed down” – what a statement. Surgeons reject this tariff – they are going to court. We are curious!

Our initiative text – our future federal law – will put an end to this miserable manipulation! If you approve of the text, you can download the required form, sign it, show it to your friends, and send it in postage-free.

We also greatly appreciate your donations. We receive no salaries – the money is used exclusively for advertising and shipping.

What is good – in our healthcare system – is:

Our healthcare system enjoys an excellent reputation. It owes this primarily to its patient-focused staff. The Unified Health Insurance Fund EKK will, through MEDIFACT, practically more than double its treatment capacity!

What is bad is:

the mindset of many executives.
the tariffs TARMED and DENTOTAR.
the political protection of these constructs.
the unfair regulations for Spitex and therapists.
Our health insurers pay usurious bills blindly.
They pay near-million salaries at our expense.
Their representatives earn extreme commissions – up to 16 times our monthly premium.

It is more than time for a system change!

After a successful vote, a new chapter begins!

150 francs instead of 505 francs
full transparency
understandable reimbursements
control before payment
professionalism instead of amateurism

Perhaps you are surprised that you read nothing about medications in our initiative. Our legal system distinguishes the Health Insurance Act from freedom of trade and commerce. We are not allowed – within the same initiative – to vote on different subjects, because that would violate the “unity of subject matter”. For this reason, we will launch a separate popular initiative. It will probably be called “Stop-Switzerland-Surcharge”! This initiative will concern all factory-packaged consumer goods – especially medications as well.

What comes to your mind when you see such price differences – negotiated by our “clever” federal officials? Cost in Switzerland: Fr. 130.40 and in Germany – for exactly the same thing – Fr. 7.60. That is more than 17 times as much, which we – thanks to the authorities – must pay to the money-greedy pharmaceutical industry. I call this: “officially approved corruption!” Such conduct has long since lost all basis of normal fairness and must be made impossible – and promised – we will let you vote on this as well one more time!

Would you like even more details? You can find them on our more extensive additional page.

Thank you very much for your interest. Please talk to your friends about it! Your initiator, Werner Bachmann
